2K Games Announces WWE 2K15 Release Date

WWE 2K15 is set to release Oct. 28 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, 2K Games announced on Twitter.

Not much is known about WWE 2K15 but with the release date just five months away, expect 2K games to start rolling out information about the game soon. Last year, WWE 2K14 hype began in April when The Rock was named the game’s cover star. However, more substanial information began rolling out in August.

Rumors suggested WWE 2K15 would miss its annual October release date and opt to launch at a time closer to WWE’s biggest event, WrestleMania. 2K Games announcement puts an end to those rumors and should make WWE fans happy. It will also be the first time the franchise will release on new-gen consoles.
