WWE 2K14

[adsense250itp]WWE 2K14 Phenom Edition is available for pre-order now through Amazon and the WWE Shop for $99.99 and will release alongside WWE 2K14 on Oct. 29, 2K Sports announced.

The special edition of the wrestling sim will include extras featuring WWE superstar Undertaker.

In addition to a copy of the game, the WWE 2K14 Phenom Edition will include the first disc of the WWE Undertaker – The Streak Blu-ray or DVD box set, the American Badass version of Undertaker from the Attitude Era for use as a playable character in the game, a controller skin based featuring Undertaker and a collectible art card personally signed by Undertaker. All the items will come boxed in an exclusive coffin tin box.

Players who purchase the Phenom Edition will also get access to the Ultimate Warrior playable character only available as a pre-order item.

Undertaker is being celebrated with his own special edition of WWE 2K14 because of his 20-year career as a WWE wrestler. He holds a 21-0 record in WrestleMania appearances throughout his career and fought against some of the most famous names ever to participate in the WWE.

2K Sports officially took over the WWE video game franchise in February in a deal between parent company Take-Two, developer Yuke’s and former publisher THQ. Despite changing publishers, Yuke’s is still in control of development on WWE 2K14. The development team is also working with Visual Concepts in order to bring the 2K touch to the franchise.

WWE Executive Vice President of Creative Development Stephanie McMahon previously confirmed wrestling personality Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be the cover athlete of WWE 2K14. This will mark his second appearance as a WWE cover athlete.

WWE 2K14 is set to launch Oct. 29 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is not expected to release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
