Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. announced from Tokyo a new title and peripheral for the PS3, Wonderbook: Book of Spells. You will be living the life of a Hogwarts student just like Harry Potter, Ron Wesley and Hermione Granger.

J.K. Rowling said, “Wonderbook: book of Spells is the closest a Muggle can come to a real spellbook. I’ve loved working with Sony’s creative team to bring spells, and some of the history behind them, to life. This is an extraordinary device that offers a reading experience like no other.” Wonderbook: Book of Spells is going to be the first title for Wonderbook; it is going to bring to life a thousand stories in one physical book. Move is going to be a strong storytelling tool for the imagination behind the new piece of tech. Wonderbook is going to bring exclusive content to the PlayStation 3 owners and will purportedly leveralge the Move technology.

According to the lore behind the game, Book of Spells is shown to be written over 200 years ago by Miranda Goshawk and only can be found in the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts library. Fans of the Harry Potter world will have a comfortable place to practice spells, discover mischievous notes left by previous Hogwarts students. You will be able to experience all these spells that every successful wizard will need to know soon.
