WildStar’s Open Beta Period Launches with Livestream Updates

Fans of the highly anticipated MMO WildStar will be excited to learn that Carbine Studios announced it will launch an open beta period for the game from Thursday, May 8 until Sunday, May 18.
[adsense250itp]Finally available to the public, the open beta will expand the level cap to 30. It will allow players to experience previously unavailable content such as Farside, the barbarous moon of the game’s war-torn planet Nexus. Players can request a a key at WildStar’s Open Beta site starting today in order to get in on the action.
Showcasing the open beta will be a 30 minute livestream hosted by WildStar’s Twitch site today at 11:00 a.m. PT. The game’s directing team will provide updates, answer questions and explain just what makes this MMO a provocative entry into the genre.
WildStar is available for PC on June 3.
In case interested players are too busy gaming to tune in on the day of the open beta’s release, there will be a six hour livestream hosted by the game’s developers on May 9. The developers will share exciting previews of content before answering questions received live by their various social media accounts. Fans will not want to miss this event as the developers teased there may even be exclusive “post launch content gameplay” screened during the stream.
