The pre-order @ GameStop as of today is for the full price of the game…and this morning Gamestop was listed as a valid 3rd party vendor on Wildstars official pre-order website to receive all pre-order benefits including beta keys. It wasnt until late this evening (past hour) that Wildstar actually removed Gamestop (as well as Amazon and BestBuy) from their website as available vendors after many many many complaints were issued about no beta keys. Regardless of the fact that Gamestop hasnt charged someones account for the game, they were promoted as a provider, and now people have to either go to a physical location to cancel those orders or try and get it resolved so that they can access the beta as they were led to believe. IMO this is bad business and poor customer service. And…adding insult to what already would be a fustraiting experience, Wildstar has closed their official forums, their official tweeter is avoiding topics about 3rd parties, and their FB has no official response to complaints listed there. I can see a lot of ppl being turned off by this type of attitude.
