Way of the Passive Fist: New Dawn

Household Games released a brand new content update for Way of the Passive Fist entitled New Dawn. New Dawn arrives in time to give PC users a ton of tweaks and new content in time for the Steam Summer Sale.

New Dawn debuts on Steam right now for free for anyone who purchases or previously purchased Way of the Passive Fist. The free update comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the near future.

The New Dawn update expands the storyline with five new stages and a new epilogue while streamlining the experience, tweaking the difficulty curve, and improving the pacing.

It also adds a new rogue-like survival mode “Passiverse” with randomized levels among other new updates like adding new music to the New Dawn modes, plenty of new gameplay updates including new enemies, more enemy and boss variations, gameplay fixes, and new modes saving health level between stages and when saving or quitting.

On top of all that, New Dawn includes a wealth of menu and UI updates like a new Extras menu, visual updates for the main menu and loading screen, Score Style allows points that emit from the player to be changed to descriptors of emoticons, end of sequence sequence is faster, and more.

Way of the Passive Fist: New Dawn is available now for PC with PS4 and Xbox One coming soon.

Right now new Steam players can get it for 50% off until 10 am PST on July 5.

Our Take

Way of the Passive Fist had us interested when it first released with a cool look, a unique gameplay style, and a massive amount of accessibility customizations. The New Dawn update looks to add a lot of changes and new content to extend the life of the quirky non-brawler.
