Watch a New Trailer for Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima took the stage at The Game Awards 2016 to accept the Industry Icon award, and at the end of his speech, he introduced a new trailer for Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding.
The second trailer for the game is longer than the reveal trailer and features less Norman Reedus and more human fetus. However, it is still very weird and leaves a lot of questions unanswered. The Death Stranding trailer can be viewed below.
Not much can be deduced from the trailer, which features a character who looks a lot like Guillermo del Toro, the film director who was working with Kojima on a Silent Hill project before his relationship with Konami severed. He is carrying an incubator with a baby while other apparently dead babies float in a swamp-like substance.
The new trailer also features actor Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal, Doctor Strange) in a role that is likely the protagonist. His character looks human in appearance but seems to be anything but.
Reedus is not seen in the new trailer at all.
Death Stranding is expected to be available for PlayStation 4 and PC. No release window has been announced, but it is not likely to be anytime soon. Kojima has stated that the game is its early stages.
