Video Editor for GTA V PC

Rockstar Games released a new GTA V trailer introducing the Rockstar Editor, a new video editing suite that will be featured in the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V.

In addition to capturing gameplay moments from campaign and online modes, the Rockstar Editor will allow gamers to stage moments specifically for making unique videos. In Director Mode, users will have access to story mode characters and animals for these moments, as well as the ability to choose a variety of locations and weather effects.

Tracks from the game’s original soundtrack and radio stations will also be available to use in edited videos.

Players will be able to upload videos directly to YouTube and the Rockstar Games Social Club.

The trailer for the Rockstar Editor can be viewed below.

Quick Take

Adding video editing tools to GTA V for PC makes sense all around. PC players would find ways to create these videos using screen capture tools, so this is a sign of goodwill by Rockstar. What type of videos will you be making in GTA V?
