Rockstar Games announced that update 1.05 will be available sometime next week for Grand Theft Auto V online. The update will address player progress loss issues. Rockstar also gave an update on the status of the GTA$ Stimulus Package payments to GTAV Online players. While no definite date has been set for the stimulus payments, Rockstar stated that they hope to give online gamers their payments before the end of next week. The previously announced stimulus payment will not be distributed to online gamers until the issues causing loss of game data have been resolved.
[adsense250itp]GTAV gamers can look forward to new online content this month. The Beach Bum Pack will mark the first add-on content update and will include beach themed vehicles and new weapons for use in online and story mode. New character customization options will also be included in the pack giving gamers more options for tattoos and hairstyles. The pack will add new jobs to the mix too including Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races. Also on the docket for future GTAV online content is a Content Creator which will enable gamers to create, publish, rate and play custom Deathmatch and Race Jobs.
Quick Take
The bad news is gamers are still losing hard-won super cars, save data, money, etc., to bugs in GTAV online. The good news, the Beach Bum pack and content creator will be free and gamers can expect to see some fat stacks in their accounts soon via a stimulus payment.
