Uncharted 4 Multiplayer

Uncharted 4’s Multiplayer Beta is now live for players who own Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

Gaming Illustrated is giving readers the chance to view the multiplayer in action with a livestream of the beta on our YouTube channel. This will give players a taste of what’s coming when Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releases next year on PS4. Players can access a download file for the beta by highlighting the Uncharted Collection’s game icon, selecting “Overview”, and selecting the multiplayer beta tile from the list.

Naughty Dog revealed some of the features players will have access to while the beta runs through Dec. 13. Team deathmatch is the only available mode during the beta period. Players will have access to two maps and a range of customization options. Heroes and villains like Drake, Sully, Katherine Marlow, and Lazarevic are playable. These characters can be equipped with a range of cosmetic items.

Uncharted 4’s multiplayer embraces the supernatural elements of the series with the use of mystical items. The Wrath of El Dorado from Uncharted 1 spawns a sarcophagus that unleashes spirits which track and damage players. The Cintamani Stone from Uncharted 2 acts as a healing and revive item. Additionally, players can summon the help of sidekicks that provide assistance like sniper and healing support.
