Might & Magic X Legacy

Might & Magic X Legacy is currently in development by Limbic Entertainment, Ubisoft announced.

The classic first-person role-playing Might and Magic series is returning to the PC with a turn-based adventure. The latest installment of the franchise will combine the core formula of Might and Magic with brand new fine-tuned features.

Might & Magic X Legacy takes place after the events of Might & Magic Heroes 6. Gamers will play as one character in a party of four who is on a journey that will involve political machinations and mythical creatures. The in-game city of Karthal plays a crucial role in the game as a fight for control of the city takes place between competing groups. The single-player experience will determine the fate of the city.

While trying to gain control of Karthal, players will face powerful mythical creatures and find ancient magical treasures. The turn-based gameplay will take players through quests in dungeons, cities and dangerous labyrinths. Might & Magic X Legacy will be full of creatures to take down and difficult boss battles to fight through.

Might & Magic X Legacy will be the tenth official entry in the franchise and first time the Might and Magic universe has been explored since 2011′s Might & Magic Heroes 6. The series began all the way back in 1986 with the release of Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum.

No release date for Might & Magic X Legacy has been announced. However, the game will be showcased at this week’s PAX East.

Ubisoft debuted a trailer for Might & Magic X Legacy along with the announcement. The trailer can be viewed below.

As a huge fan of all the other M&M RPG games, I am excited about this. Never liked the Heroes games, but loved the RPGs.
