Turtle Beach Stealth 600

Turtle Beach announced the availability for its new line of Stealth 700 and Stealth 600 headsets for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One device family.

The Stealth 700 and Stealth 600 are now available with compatibility for the Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X. The Stealth 600 for the PlayStation 4 is available now and the Stealth 700 will launch globally on Sept. 24.

Microsoft’s Xbox Wireless technology allows the Stealth 700 and Stealth 600 to connect directly to the console, similar to an Xbox wireless controller. These will be the first two gaming headsets in the world to take advantage of this technology. Once paired directly to the Xbox One, the headset can be turned on and immediately used. PS4 headsets will use an included USB transmitter to connect to the console.

“Holiday 2017 is going to be another great season for gaming, and the Stealth 700 & Stealth 600 redefine what gamers should expect from a wireless gaming headset at the $99 and $149 price points,” said Turtle Beach CEO Juergen Stark. “With the imminent launch of Xbox One X as well as a handful of AAA multiplayer game launches on the horizon, we know gamers will be looking for a new or replacement headset, and the Stealth 700 & 600 are great choices with our signature high-quality sound for the best possible gaming audio experience, supported with features we know can help them play better and win more.”

Both headsets use immersive surround sound to deliver superior game audio. The Xbox One headsets are optimized to deliver Windows Sonic for Headphones. The Stealth 700 for PS4 features DTS: Headphone: X surround sound to deliver 7.1 channel surround sound. The Stealth 600 for PS4 uses Turtle Beach Virtual Surround Sound.

Both Stealth 700 models offer active noise-cancellation to get rid of any background noise to offer further game immersion. They also include Bluetooth connectivity with the ability to quickly change audio settings on the fly while connected to the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app. Dynamic chat boost is offered on the Stealth 700 models to automatically increase incoming chat volume over the game audio.

Turtle Beach’s glasses friendly ProSpecs design is integrated into both models to add additional comfort for glasses wearers by removing pressure on the ear cups. 50mm speakers provide excellent sound quality along with Turtle Beach’s Superhuman Hearing which amplifies quieter sounds like footsteps and weapon reloading.

A flip-up microphone allows players’ voices to be heard clearly and to be flipped up to mute it. Independent game and chat volume controls coupled with mic monitoring provide a good balance between what audio source you want to hear. The headsets also feature four audio presets, including bass boost.

The Stealth 600 headset features up to 15 hours of gaming per charged. The Stealth 700 can offer up to 10 hours of gaming but can go even longer when active noise-cancellation and Bluetooth features are not used.

Stealth 700 headsets are available for $149.95 while the Stealth 600 headsets are available for $99.95.
