Titanfall 2 multiplayer will be free for anyone to try beginning Nov. 30, publisher EA and developer Respawn Entertainment announced.
The free trial will be available on PC to EA Access and Origin members starting Nov. 30, then will be live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and all other PC players beginning Dec. 2.
EA’s press release does not specify how long the free trial period will last. Typically, demos released on EA Access are available to play for 10 hours before users are required to purchase the full game to download. Those who decide to buy the game will retain all of their progress from the trial.
In addition, EA revealed the first post-launch content will also begin rolling out to players Nov. 30. The content, titled Angel City’s Most Wanted, features a remastered version of the Angel City map from the original Titanfall, as well as the Wingman Elite Pistol, six new Titan kits and a Pilot execution.
Angel City’s Most Wanted will also allow players to purchase items to customize their look and weapons, including camo and war paint.
The new content will be free for all players. Players who pre-ordered Titanfall 2 will get access to the map Nov. 30 while the Angel City map will be available to all players Dec. 3.
