Tiny Brains Receives Free Content Update

505 Games and Spearhead Games released a new content update to their co-op puzzle game Tiny Brains.
The update is available now for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. Based around feedback from the community, the update brings brand-new levels and updated content to the game.
Tiny Brains’ gets ten new time-based and puzzle challenges with the “Road to Stardom” game mode. The Infernal Carousel, Battle of Sphereburg and Matrix Ball are just a few of these challenges. Existing content in “Escape the Mad Lab” will be rebranded. Road to Stardom will also feature a new progression and scoring system which uses stars for ratings. Minsc the hamster, one of the four playable “tiny brains,” gets a superpower boost and is now able to freeze objects with his ice blocks.
The game’s user interface has also been updated and provides a better way for players to navigate through various modes and challenges. Finally, the Tiny Brains demo will receive online functionality. Players using the demo will be able to host online games through Chapter 1. They will also be able to join campaign games hosted by players who own the full version of Tiny Brains.
Spearhead Games released Tiny Brains shortly after the launch of the PlayStation 4. The game’s quirky and fun multiplayer received praise in our review. It was definitely a great multiplayer game for players not interested in FPS launch titles.
Tiny Brains is now priced at $9.99 on PlayStation consoles and PC. A new trailer for the game featuring the updated content was also released, check it out below.
