EA announced fans will be able to experience the very first Masters Tournament, including clothes and clubs, in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14: The Masters Historic Edition.
The first Masters took place in 1934 at the Augusta National Golf Club. For the first time ever, players will be able to go back in time and experience the legendary golf tournament as golfers did in 1934.
Developer EA Tiburon went to painstaking great lengths to accurately recreate the original design of the course from 1931. Augusta National was designed by famous golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie and golf superstar Bobby Jones.
In addition to the original Masters Tournament, The Masters Historic Edition of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 will include a copy of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, a walk through of the original layout of Augusta National, Augusta National Golf Club course as it is today, Augusta National’s world-class Tournament Practice Facility, Augusta National’s Par 3 course, green jacket ceremony and Augusta, the Song, as heard during the broadcast of The Masters.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14: The Masters Historic Edition will include all 20 courses available in the standard edition. The special edition will also have four additional courses, including Royal County Down, Royal Melbourne, Sheshan and TPC Blue Monster at Doral.
New features for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 were detailed earlier this week. The game will include nine legendary golfers, playable characters from the LPGA, all major championships, new game modes and night golf.
