The Rock Named WWE 2K14 Cover Athlete

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be featured on the cover of the upcoming WWE 2K14, WWE executive vice president of creative development Stephanie McMahon announced via Twitter.
“Breaking News: @TheRock will be featured on the cover of WWE 2K 14,” McMahon tweeted while attending the WWE Business Partner Summit.
Each year, the WWE Business Partner Summit is held to showcase products that will feature WWE branding.
[adsense250itp]WWE 2K14 will be the first game to release under the new agreement between WWE and Take-Two Interactive. The two parties officially came to terms on a licensing agreement in February after the demise of THQ.
Yuke’s will remain the developer of WWE 2K14 while 2K Sports, a subsidiary of Take-Two, will help in development. WWE 2K14 is expected to release sometime this Fall. Firm release details have yet to be announced.
The Rock has been extremely busy lately. He lost to John Cena in the WWE title match at Wrestlemania 29 held in New Jersey over the weekend. His movie, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, opened at the top of the box office when it released at the end of March. He is also set to star in Pain & Gain, which will hit theaters later this month, Fast & Furious 6, scheduled to debut in May, and Empire State, which will release later this year. The Rock will host the TNT reality show The Hero, which begins airing in June.
Johnson was previously featured on the cover of WWE 12.
