The Last of Us Season Pass Announced

The Last of Us Season Pass and digital edition are now available for pre-order through the PlayStation Store, Naughty Dog announced on the official company blog.
The game will feature three downloadable content packs, one expanding the single-player campaign and the other two focused on multiplayer content.
Naughty Dog said the campaign DLC is a way to thoroughly explore the narrative of The Last of Us. Meanwhile, the multiplayer content will add new maps and more to the game’s multiplayer mode. The first details on multiplayer for The Last of Us are expected to be announced in the coming days.
[adsense250itp]The Last of Us Season Pass offers players all three DLC packs at a savings of 30 percent over the cost of all three individually. Players can purchase The Last of Season Pass for $19.99. It can be pre-ordered now through the PlayStation Store or purchased on the game’s launch date at Gamestop.
Additionally, players who purchase The Last of Us Season Pass will be entitled to exclusive content available as soon as the game releases. Day one bonuses include increased crafting and healing speed, a 9 mm reload speed upgrade, rifle clip capacity upgrade and an exclusive 90-minute Making of The Last of Us documentary.
Naughty Dog and Sony are offering a full digital edition of The Last of Us as a day one digital download, meaning the game will be available for purchasers to download at midnight on release day. Pre-orders for the digital edition of The Last of Us are available now on the PlayStation Store. The game will feature a unique installer that allows gamers to begin playing the game once a little more than half of the game data has been downloaded.
The Last of Us is set to release June 14 exclusively for PlayStation 3. The game was originally scheduled to launch May 7 but was delayed.
