Star Wars: The Old Republic from BioWare and LucasArts announced their latest update for their blockbuster title. The update is titled Update 1.3 – Allies, which is going to deliver a ton of user wanted updates. They pertain to a Group Finder feature, a new Ranked PvP Warzone, Adaptive Gear, new enhancements to the Legacy system and more. With all these updates coming out it seems BioWare is giving the fans what they want. Since the title’s launch BioWare has released three major updates that have added new content and game features to give what the fans wanted.

Matthew Bromberg, General Manager of BioWare Austin stated, “We are living up to our commitment in setting a new bar for what players should expect from a premium MMO service.” It does seem like they have been doing that with this update which contains a slew of updates and enhancements to their title. Group Finder is one of the updates; it is going to make it much easier for players to join up with others in the game. This is also going to help players find other users who are tackling the same Flashpoint or Operation. It will even let you able to find groups which your set of skills in combat which are going to complement. Another update is Ranked Warzones which is going to make PvP more challenging and rewarding. In Warzone you are now able to create a group, compete in ranked Warzones and have stat tracking. From immediately noticeable changes likes group finder and ranked Warzone to more modest enhancements like Legacy Character Perks and Adaptive Gear are all features SWTOR fans have been asking for.

Legacy Character Perks gives you the opportunity to expand your customization to the leveling experience for your Legacy characters. These perks are going to be able to focus on space combat, PvP, or group missions and Flashpoints. You can only choose on which activities you are going to earn the most experience. But you will also be giving the opportunities to earn bonuses as well, such as piloting a vehicle at level 10 and earning bonus affection with companions. You are even going to be able to reallocate your skill points in the field which is going to be a huge bonus. This is going to help with their new enhancement Adaptive Gear, which is going to allow you to wear your favorite social gear. But don’t worry, you are still going to get the benefit of your best combat gear when you need it the most. This is going to bring a lot more enjoyment when doing missions since people are going to be sporting a unique wardrobe into battle. Fighting the battle is only half the fun, but you also need to find it.

Another of the more discrete enhancements are character transfers, which is going to allow the user to transfer their character to different servers. BioWare has also added Augmented Tables which is going to allow you to customize your weaponry. This is yet another update which fans are going to love and enjoy for the next couple months before BioWare releases yet another update. Star Wars: The Old Republic is showing a lot of promise with all the work BioWare is putting in. Let’s see what they have for their next major title update.
