Capybara Games announced it is bringing Super Time Force to Steam this summer. Released as Super Time Force Ultra, PC players will have the opportunity to dig into all the crazy time-based action.
[adsense250itp]The developer is adding even more features to the game, but no information is available about what they may be. Super Time Force featured plenty of secret and additional characters to discover throughout the multiple levels. The safe bet is on more crazy characters join the Force in Ultra.
Additionally, the soundtrack for Super Time Force from 6955 is available for purchase on Bandcamp and iTunes. The 53-track album features all the chiptune tracks from the game. Diehard fans can pre-order a 180gm vinyl pressing of select tracks from the soundtrack through 6955’s bandcamp page. This is good news since the game’s soundtrack was a highlight.
Super Time Force released back in May on Xbox One and Xbox 360 as a Microsoft console exclusive. The game received a 92% from Gaming Illustrated. Be sure to check out our review of the Xbox One version here.
Quick Take
Super Time Force is an awesome game. The news of it heading to Steam this summer with additional content so more people can experience the frenetic lunacy is great. It also joins the growing list of games re-releasing on different platforms with longer and sweeter subtitles. The “Ultra” logo has a touch of Hotline Miami to it. Does this mean Capybara will add a Hotline-inspired character to unlock that attacks with a hammer resulting in bloody, pixelated time goop?
