/ Jun 15th, 2015 No Comments

Star Wars Battlefront

During its media briefing at E3 2015, EA showed off the first multiplayer gameplay footage from Star Wars Battlefront.

The footage, captured directly from a PlayStation 4, featured a huge battle on Hoth, reminiscent of the Battle of Hoth from the films.

In the gameplay preview, the perspective of multiple players on both teams is shown. Players fight on foot, with AT-AT walkers and in ships flying around the battlefield. Up to 40 gamers can participate in giant multiplayer battles.

The trailer culminated in the arrival of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in the fight.

Star Wars Battlefront will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 17. The multiplayer trailer can be viewed below.

Quick Take

The excitement for a new Star Wars Battlefront game was somewhat tempered after the last trailer was released. It was revealed that large space battles would not be taking place and the game would have no campaign mode. However, the latest gameplay trailer makes it seem that Battlefront is in good hands.
