Murdered Soul Suspect

Square Enix officially unveiled Murdered: Soul Suspect, the latest major project that’s looking to take the way we play video games in a completely new and exciting direction.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is taking players into the realm of the dead by casting them into the role of a spirit seeking answers from the world of the living. Murdered: Soul Suspect will challenge players to put their detective skills to the test in the most important case they will ever face; their own death.

While little information about the game has been revealed, Square Enix has released a teaser trailer that leads us to believe players will have to search for clues and progress through the story of their own death by using special ghostly abilities. The trailer shows a ghost walking through a living person at one point, which could very well be a way for players to truly find out what is going on inside possible witnesses and discover what they know.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is currently set for an early 2014 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. No exact release date has been revealed. Interestingly, the game was not announced for a next-gen console.

More information about Murdered: Soul Suspect can be found on the official website at www.murdered.com, as well as the game’s Facebook and Twitter pages respectively. Additionally, more details are expected to be announced as the release date approaches.

The teaser trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect can be viewed below.
