Splasher

Publisher Playdius and developer Splashteam have put the final touches on colorful platformer Splasher for the Nintendo Switch. It releases on the Nintendo eShop next week on October 26.

Set in a stylish, cartoony universe, Splasher puts you in the shoes of the purple haired hero. After discovering the evil experiments performed on your fellow splashers, you decide to put a stop to it.

Using the ink from your Splatter Canon, you can perform some cool tricks.

Armed with a splatter canon, you decide to assault the paint factory to save the splashers. In order to free his fellow workers, he’ll have to make it through the factory and square off against his evil boss: Le Docteur.

The splatter canon allows you to cover levels in different colors of ink to give you unique abilities. Whether using ink to stick to surfaces, bounce high in the air, or deceive your opponents by throwing them into their own traps, the splatter canon is versatile when overcoming platforming challenges.

Our Take

Splashes caught our interest when it released last month, but like most multi-platform games we tend to wait for the Nintendo Switch version. There is no better feeling than being able to play at home or on-the-go.

The stylish platformer seems like a great for the Nindies line-up on the Switch. We can’t wait to try it out when it releases next week.
