It seems as though Sleeping Dogs might just have one more DLC left in it, according to a leaked trailer and trophy list that hit the internet earlier this week. The leaked DLC pack titled Year of the Snake has yet to be confirmed by United Front Games but the quality of the trailer seems to suggest this may very well be the real deal.
The trailer is really more of a teaser. It shows brief glimpses of a Chinese New Year celebration followed by some thugs in gas masks and some sort of kung fu master. Despite a strangely abrupt ending, everything looks pretty legitimate.
Complete the first mission.
Defeat the cultists.
Hong Kong’s Finest:
Complete all secondary content.
Find all the evidence collectibles.
The majority of the trophies are pretty much the norm, with the exception of the Cult Master, which makes it sound like players will be fighting some creepy cult followers. It would not be a stretch for Wei Shen, as he’s previously dealt with the undead in Nightmare at North Point, using none other than, you guessed it, magical kung fu.
The Grand Theft Auto-style free roaming title by United Front Games and Square Enix released last year and became one of the biggest titles of 2012. So far, the game has been accompanied by a ton of small bonus content, mostly relating to styles and vehicles, as well as a handful of story-extending DLC such as the Zodiac Tournament.
In total, Sleeping Dogs has been supported with over two dozen different content packs. United Front Games could still want to add to the game’s content, even with rumors of a sequel already in development.
