Saints Row 4

Saints Row 4 Emperor Zinyak’s Game of the Generation Edition will be available when the game hits retailers on Aug. 20, developer Volition and Deep Silver announced.

In edition to a copy of the game, the Game of the Generation limited edition of Saints Row 4 will include a 12-inch replica Dubstep Gun with laser and sounds, Dubstep Doomsday button, Johnny Gat memorial statue, lighted rotating display case complete with individually numbered plaque and protective pouch for the display case.

The Game of the Generation version of Saints Row 4 will also feature in-game items including the ‘Merica weapon, Uncle Sam suit and Screaming Eagle jet. The game will come packaged with special cover art.

Aside from the unique display case, all the items included with the Saints Row 4 Commander in Chief Edition and Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition will be part of the Game of the Generation version of the game.

Only 5,000 copies of Saints Row 4 Emperor Zinyak’s Game of the Generation Edition will be available worldwide. The extremely limited edition of Saints Row 4 will be priced at $129.99.

Additionally, Deep Silver announced a Saints Row 4 Season Pass will be available for $9.99 to add more content to the game. The package will give players access two downloadable mission packs for Saints Row 4, the first of which is a director’s cut of the Enter the Dominatrix DLC originally planned for Saints Row 3. The bonus content will allow characters from the game to explain why the DLC was cancelled.

Another mission pack is expected to launch sometime late this year. The Saints Row 4 Season Pass also includes the Rectifier, an exclusive anal probe weapon.

Saints Row 4 is set to release Aug. 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Gamers interested in Saints Row 4 are encouraged to check out a hands-on preview of the game from Kalvin Martinez here, and an exclusive interview with the game’s art director here.
