Surprise hit Rocket League is set to release Feb. 17 on Xbox One through the ID@Xbox self-publishing program, developer Psyonix announced.
The soccer-with-cars experience will be available as a digital download for $19.99.
Rocket League became an immediate hit when it released for PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015. The game has attracted more than 11 million players, Psyonix said in a press release.
In addition to the main game, the Xbox One version of Rocket League will include three previously-released DLC packs: Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars and Chaos Run. With the bonus content, players will have access to six premium battle-cars, 36 decals, eight paint types, six rocket trails, six wheels, seven toppers and five antennas.
Xbox One owners will also get access to exclusive Armadillo and HogSticker vehicles (modeled after transport from Gears of War and Halo), as well as garage items such as Fizzie and the Overcharge Rocket Trail (from Sunset Overdrive).
Rocket League is intense, fun and easy to pick up. It all makes for the perfect multiplayer action title, even for those who aren’t into sports. The Xbox One release has been a long time coming, so it’s nice to see some extras and exclusive content for Xbox One owners.
