Capcom announced exclusive features for the upcoming console version of Resident Evil Revelations, specifically detailing the Wii U version of the game.
Gamers playing on the Wii U version of the once handheld-only title will be able to use the GamePad as a mini-map and inventory management system. Resident Evil Revelations also will have support for the GamePad’s off-screen play, meaning the game will be playable on the GamePad screen while the TV is displaying something else.

Players will be able to post a message on the Game Over screen for other players around the world to see. This can allow gamers to send tips to other players, helping them make it through some of the more difficult areas. Players will also be able to give monsters a vote using the Creatures Voice feature. A box over the monster will display the message during Raid Mode as a way to taunt friends.
Capcom also announced some new features for Resident Evil Revelations that will be available on all console version of the game. Rachel, a newcomer to the Resident Evil series, will be joining Hunk, the infamous character from Resident Evil 2, as a playable character in the game’s Raid Mode.
Additionally, Capcom revealed all console versions of the game will feature two new enemies, one of which is the Wall Blister. Capcom has yet to unveil the other new creature, but the enemy does not appear until the player reaches a certain level in Raid Mode.
Of course, the game will support Residentevil.net. The online stat-tracking service for Resident Evil games will host online events. Members of the site can earn custom parts and weapons to use in Raid Mode with new items that can be used in the main campaign. Players can also collect exclusive dioramas through Residentevil.net
Resident Evil Revelations released on Nintendo 3DS in last January. The game is finally coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U on May 21.
