Resident Evil: Revelations Coming to Consoles
Resident Evil: Revelations, the hit title for Nintendo 3DS, will be ported over to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, Capcom announced.
The game is scheduled to release on May 21 with a price tag of $49.99. A digital version will be available for download on the same day for PS3 and PC. Details on a digital download for Xbox 360 and Wii U will be revealed at a later date.
For the new version, the survival horror thriller will get the HD treatment. High quality visuals, enhanced lighting effects and great sound will add to the fear players experience.
Raid Mode, which was introduced along with Resident Evil: Revelations, has also been enhanced with new weapons, skill sets and the opportunity to play as Hunk and other familiar characters from the franchise. In Raid Mode, players compete online in co-op or solo and level up as they face hordes of enemies throughout various missions.
Resident Evil: Revelations released for Nintendo 3DS on Feb. 7, 2012. The game takes place during the events between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 and reveals the truth about the T-Abyss virus. The game features some of fans favorite Resident Evil characters, including Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, plus respective BSAA partners – Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat. Players will also have to deal with limited weapons and ammo available the race is on to survive the horror of Resident Evil: Revelations.
As expected, Resident Evil: Revelations will be compatible with the online service Residentevil.net. Online content will be available to users once the game is released. Gamers can pre-register on the service from Jan. 24 to gain early access to Resident Evil: Revelations themed content.
