The Polk Audio 4 Shot Headset for Xbox One will be available at Gamestop locations and on the Polk Audio official website on March 6, Polk Audio announced.
Developed with input from Halo developer 343 Industries and Forza maker Turn 10 Studios, the Polk headset will be the first Xbox One compatible to be available. Microsoft is set to release a headset adapter that will allow Xbox 360 headsets to work on Xbox One in early March.
Featuring proprietary Polk Optimized Electro-acoustic Tuning (POET), the headset will provide immersive and realistic sound. Sound will be delivered wirelessly from the Xbox One to the controller.
[adsense250itp]The headset was built with comfort in mind. It features a spring steel headband with stitched leatherette padding, pivoting ear cups and plush over-ear pads. A retractable near-field microphone allows for game chat and a one-button control lets users quickly take phone calls.
The headset will be available in Ink Black, Desert White and Nova Blue and will be priced at $159.95.
Best Buy Canada will also carry the 4 Shot Headset beginning in March.
