The internal design and architecture of the PS4 was developed to be as slim and light as possible. The disc slot, buttons, power indicator and vent placement on the new console were placed between the four block-like sections that will make up the new PS4. Other design attributes include angling on the front and backside of the console to give users easy access to the power button and disc slot whether the console is aligned horizontally or vertically. The angle design will also help to conceal the connected cables.
PS4 peripherals will include the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller and the PlayStation Camera which will both be available at launch. The DUALSHOCK 4 will retail for $59/€59 while the PlayStation Camera will be priced at $59/€49. The PS4 console will be packaged with one Wireless DUALSHOCK 4 Controller, Mono headset, AC power cord, an HDMI cable and a USB cable.
