PlayPhone Enters Into Partnership With Vivo

PlayPhone announced this week that they have entered into a partnership with Vivo, a telecommunications provider headquartered in Brazil. PlayPhone is a social game store and global gaming network with an emphasis on mobile games.
Vivo customers will be able to search, download and play mobile games with gamers from around the globe via PlayPhone’s aggregated mobile games store. In addition, PlayPhone Games implements social gaming features that target content for individual gamers based on their gaming habits, games friends are playing and their friend network.
Vivo is the latest in a string of partnerships PlayPhone has formed with leading global mobile providers. Other PlayPhone partners include Verizon, Claro Brazil, SingTel and Sprint. Vivo’s service will open PlayPhone game stores up to 70 million more customers in Brazil bringing PlayPhone one step closer to its goal of building the world’s largest mobile social gaming network. To date, PlayPhone’s telecommunications partners reach 83% of North American mobile subscribers and close to 1 billion subscribers globally.[adsense250itp]
