Released in early 2014, the first OlliOlli became an instant classic on the Vita for its incredible arcade skateboarding action. The game soon moved on to PS4, PS3, and PC.

OlliOlli 2 is a bigger sequel in every way. Featuring five new worlds, the fifty new amateur and pro levels are expected to offer over 15 hours of gameplay. Daily grinds, spots mode, and RAD mode are returning along with 250 new challenges.

[adsense250itp]Welcome to Olliwood expands on the core mechanics of the original as well. Levels will now feature split routes and hidden lines for players to explore. Players have a larger library of tricks to work with and the new art style will show them off in a colorful way.

Combo rush is a new mode introduced into the sequel that allows for split-screen local multiplayer. Up to four players can compete across four game modes. The mode will be released through a patch sometime after the game’s launch.

A price for OlliOlli2 has yet to be announced. However, cross-buy and cross-save is enabled so players who purchase one version will have access to the other.

Quick Take

Though it’s only been a little over a year since the release of the original OlliOlli, it’s hard not to be excited for another entry in the series. OlliOlli 2 looks to feature the same addicting gameplay as the original, just packed with more features. Having the game release on PS4 along with the Vita should help Roll7 reach an even wider install base and bring many more players along for the ride.
