Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis Coming to Tekken 7

Final Fantasy XV has already had a crossover with the Assassin’s Creed universe, but it will now be invading the fighting arena in Tekken 7. The game’s star, Noctis Lucis Caelum, will be joining Tekken 7 as a playable fighter in 2018, Bandai Namco announced at the Tekken World Tour Finals in San Francisco.
Noctis will deal hard-hitting blows with his signature Engine Blade when he enters the battle arena with the King of Iron Fist tournament in spring 2018. The Hammerhead Garage from Final Fantasy XV will be a new stage for Tekken 7 that will come with the arrival of Noctis.
The next DLC for Tekken 7 is set to launch before the end of 2017. Geese Howard from the Fatal Fury franchise is the biggest addition to the game in the soon-to-be-released bonus content.
Final Fantasy XV is no stranger to crossovers with other blockbuster video games. In August, Square Enix teamed up with Ubisoft to release the “Assassin’s Festival” DLC for FFXV. The free add-on gives Noctis some abilities from the Assassins Brotherhood and the town of Lestallum an Assassin’s Creed-like makeover fit for parkour.
Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
