This week’s game releases include: a conflict of cataclysmic proportions with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, a reboot of a well-loved series with Tomb Raider, the latest expansion pack for The Sims 3 with University Life, a way to create and control a whole city with SimCity, and a multiplayer dash for cash with Dollar Dash.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate – 3DS

It has been twenty-five years, and the story of Gabriel’s descendants has started to unfold. In a tale of vengeance and loss, Gabriel has become the dreadful Dracula. Players can discover multiple pieces of the history of the vampiric bloodline by playing a number of different characters, bring down monolithic monsters, and tap into different abilities on different characters that span eras. Castelevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate is scheduled for release on Nintendo 3DS on March 5.

Tomb Raider – PS3/Xbox 360/PC

Delve into the evolution of Lara Croft from inexperienced youngster to strong survivor. Acting as a reboot for the well-loved franchise, Tomb Raider brings the player into a world of mystery and intrigue as Lara Croft must discover the hidden history of an island in order to escape its clutches. Tomb Raider offers a variety of weapons and gameplay options to choose from and an opportunity to become better acquainted with one of the most iconic heroines in gaming history. Tomb Raider is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and PC on March 5.

The Sims 3: University Life – PC

Have a Sim that’s been itching to pursue higher education? Have them take an aptitude test and gain access to a sub-neighborhood that acts as a university and offers new ways for the player to interact with the world. Choose from a number of majors and influence the Sim’s education and occupation. The Sims 3: University Life is scheduled for release on PC on March 5.

SimCity – PC

Create and have complete control over a city that responds to every decision made and every action taken. Choose industrialization or green living – each has its bonuses and each has its risks. Players will also be able to connect with friends to complete global challenges such as launching a shuttle into space. SimCity is scheduled for release on PC on March 5.

Dollar Dash – PC/XBLA

The cash is constantly changing hands. Will you be able to get your share – and keep it? Dollar Dash is a multiplayer venture with three game modes: Dollar Dash, Save the Safe, and Hit’n’Run. Players must collect cash, deposit it, and defend their hoard against other players. Dollar Dash also offers character customization and weapons upgrades. Dollar Dash is scheduled for release on PC and Xbox Live Arcade on March 6.
