Skulls of the Shogun

This week’s game releases include a new FPS with Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear, an HD overhaul of the Hitman games with Hitman HD Trilogy, the re-release of a classic title with Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, and a colorful quest into the afterlife with Skulls of the Shogun.

Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear – PS3/Xbox 360/PC

Jump straight into the heart of battle with the latest FPS.  Repel the forces of the enemy, protect intelligence gatherers, and bring the fight back to the enemy’s own turf.  Featuring a co-op mode than can support up to four players, Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear also brings new levels of combat to the table with such tools as night vision goggles.  Players will also be able to tap into a multi-directional and multi-cover system that will add a whole new level of challenge and defensibility to the FPS genre.  Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on January 29.

Hitman HD Trilogy – PS3/Xbox 360

Featuring three classic Hitman titles, Hitman HD Trilogy brings back some of the best moments and missions.  Players will dive head first into over 40 missions that span the Hitman: Contracts, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, and Hitman: Blood Money titles, whose visuals have been overhauled in high definition.  Hitman HD Trilogy is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 29.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault – PlayStation Vita

Originally scheduled to be released alongside the PlayStation 3 version, Full Frontal Assault for the Vita will be hitting the PlayStation Network later on this week.  For those who already own the PlayStation 3 version, Full Frontal Assault will be free to download on the Vita.  Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is scheduled for release on the PlayStation Vita on January 29.

Skulls of the Shogun – XBLA/PC

Join forces with ghosts and ghouls alike in a quest to reclaim lost honor.  Featuring a vibrant and unique art style, and drop-in drop-out gameplay that supports multiple players, Skulls of the Shogun immerses the player in a whimsical rendering of the afterlife and the challenges it holds.  Skulls of the Shogun is scheduled for release on Xbox Live and Windows 8 for PC on January 30.
