DmC: Devil May Cry

This week’s game releases include: the latest addition to the Devil May Cry family with DmC: Devil May Cry, an addendum to the hit game Corpse Party with Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, and DLC for Borderlands 2 with Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.

DmC: Devil May Cry – PS3/Xbox 360

Delve into the latest addition to the Devil May Cry franchise; discover the truth of Dante’s past, defeat enemies with a dynamic and challenging combat system, all while being taken along for the ride with a cast of characters with iconic personalities.  DmC: Devil May Cry features full access to the power of Dante’s dual personality – combine angelic and demonic powers for devastating effect.  DmC: Devil May Cry is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Jan 15.

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows – PSP

[adsense250itp]Acting as more of an addendum than a sequel to the horror game Corpse Party, Book of Shadows continues to take the player down a darkened path of horror and mystery.  Featuring first-person perspective gameplay, gamers will immerse themselves in the nightmares of what happened at Heavenly Host Elementary.  Familiar faces will surface once again, and new characters will add to the drama.  Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is scheduled for release on the PlayStation Portable on Jan 15.

Borderlands 2 – Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt DLC – PS3/Xbox 360/PC

For gamers who have already beaten Borderlands 2, the latest DLC for the game is the next big adventure.  Starting out as a hunt lead by Sir Hammerlock, things rapidly take a turn for the challenging with the introduction of new enemies and a villain who is determined to resurrect the nightmare of Handsome Jack.  While the latest addition to Borderlands 2 will not up the level cap, players’ skills and reaction times will have to be top of the line to keep up.  Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt DLC is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on Jan 15.
