New Game Releases: February 10-16

This week’s game releases include a new way to help you focus with Brain Age: Concentration Training, a more beefed up racing game with Sonic & All-Stars Racing Bonus Edition, a new soccer game with Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, a game of gangsters and criminal intrigue with Omerta: City of Gangsters, fighting off the latest assault of aliens with Aliens: Colonial Marines, and a side-scrolling platformer that features chickens with attitudes in Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken.
Brain Age: Concentration Training – 3DS
In an age of information overflow, the average person might find it difficult to concentrate. Yet with the latest installment of the Brain Age games, a fun, portable solution may be in sight. Brain Age: Concentration Training features a number of fun games and tests to help develop and strengthen the player’s ability to focus. Offering a number of old challenges as well as some new problems to shake things up, Brain Age: Concentration Training is scheduled for release on 3DS on February 10.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Bonus Edition – PS3/Xbox 360/3DS
[adsense250itp]Choose from a new lineup of 20 all-star characters in the bonus edition of Sonic & All-Stars Racing. With the added element of an all-star meter that fills up the more extravagantly you race, players will have to keep on their toes to stay in the game. Each car and character has a number of unique moves and a vehicle that is capable of adapting to flight, driving, and swimming. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Bonus Edition is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and 3DS on February 12.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 – 3DS
Immersing the player in a new level of realism with more control of the ball and with more accurate renderings of play styles of individual athletes, Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 brings its challenges to 3DS later this week. Pro Evolution also features some of the world’s best soccer players as well as truer to life response time for goalies and team players. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is scheduled for release on 3DS on February 12.
Omerta: City of Gangsters – Xbox 360
As an immigrant fresh off the boat in Atlantic City thrown into the thick of the 1920’s gang wars, keeping one step ahead of the enemy is the name of the game. Featuring turn-based combat and a strategic approach to intelligence gathering, Omerta: City of Gangsters immerses the player in a world of intrigue and criminal thrills. Omerta: City of Gangsters is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 on February 12.
Aliens: Colonial Marines – PS3/Xbox 360/PC
Become part of a squad that has to face down an alien assault worse than anything previously experienced. Armed to the teeth with traditional weapons such as pulse rifles and flamethrowers, players will also have access to new equipment and up to four player co-op. Aliens: Colonial Marines also features environments from the movies as well as an upgrade system that allows players to customize their character to their heart’s content. Aliens: Colonial Marines is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on February 12.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken – PS Vita
Based on the well-loved browser game Rocketbirds: Revolution, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken features new characters, challenges, missions, and music. Players will delve into political intrigue mixed with a good old shoot ‘em up in a side-scrolling platformer. Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is scheduled for release on the PlayStation Vita on February 12.
