New Game Releases: December 2-8
This week’s game releases include: a no holds barred bid for survival FPS with Far Cry 3, an arena-like jump into the heart of conflict in Middle Earth with Guardians of Middle Earth, a quest to save the Earth with Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth, and the latest DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with Dragonborn.
Far Cry 3 – PS3/Xbox 360/PC
Assume the role of Jason Brody, a man trapped on a forsaken island that has long since forgotten the distinctions between wrong and right. The only forms of survival are through the business end of a gun or drugs that can blow a mind out of the water. Players will have to survive through any means necessary: whether it’s by stealth or by making their enemies into Swiss cheese with a barrage of bullets. Far Cry 3 features a truly open-world FPS adventure, where it is up to the player as to what becomes of them. Gamers will also partake in an immersive story, as well as a multiplayer that rewards effective teamwork. For those who are looking for an additional challenge, the map editor can be used to create and access new trials. Far Cry 3 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on Dec 4.
Guardians of Middle Earth – PS3
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth – Wii U

Marvel Avengers features a number of modes, such as: campaign, arcade, co-op, and challenge. Players will also engage in a dynamic combat system that allows for dramatic and innovative ways to break enemies down. Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is scheduled for release on Wii U on Dec 4.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC – Xbox 360
Continue to earn the title of Dragonborn with the latest DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Featuring a number of new locations such as the island of Solstheim and the coast of Morrowind, Dragonborn will pitch the player against a number of new kinds of enemies, as well as challenging new quests. Players will also be able to tame dragons, master a number of new shouts, and venture into a completely new daedric realm. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 on Dec 4, with release dates for PlayStation 3 and PC as yet unannounced.
