New Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Footage Released

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment officially released the first in a set of three parts of brand new footage from the upcoming DC Comics based title Batman: Arkham Knight.
The new footage shows Batman attempting to infiltrate Ace Chemicals, the birthplace of Batman’s most famous nemesis, the Joker. The trailer shows Batman attempting to free hostages while pitted against numerous foes, including one of the primary antagonists known as the Arkham Knight.
Besides revealing a glimpse into the game’s story, the trailer showcases brand new gameplay mechanics not found in the original Arkham games, such as a new Fear Takedown maneuver allowing players to subdue up to three enemies at once. The trailer also shows more uses for the Batmobile in combat and open-world exploration modes.
A second gameplay video will release Dec. 2 on the game’s official website. A third part will follow at the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas during a keynote address by Sony.
Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham Knight is the fourth game in the Batman: Arkham series and is set after Batman: Arkham City. The game is set for an official release Jun. 2, 2015 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
