Need for Speed: Most Wanted Gets Ultimate Speed DLC December 18

Ultimate Speed Pack for Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Need for Speed: Most Wanted is getting the Ultimate Speed Pack on Dec. 18, according to an announcement made on the game’s official website.
The downloadable content package includes five of the fastest cars ever made, which is probably why it is being called the Ultimate Speed Pack. New vehicles featured in the DLC will be the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1LM, Lamborghini Aventador J, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.
In addition to new vehicles, the Ultimate Speed Pack includes a total of 25 new High Speed Races and Speed Runs, more than 70 new speed themed milestones and, of course, additional rewards and unlocks.
A series of new events for each car are introduced with the DLC and an all-new Most Wanted Racer event for the Hennessey will be included.
The first post-launch DLC for Need for Speed: Most Wanted is the start of developer Criterion’s ongoing commitment to fueling social competition and rivalries in the game. Having extra speed, acceleration and handling with new vehicles encourages players to top their rival’s recent Autolog records. Gamers will need to go faster through speed cameras and further through billboards to beat competitors.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted released on Oct. 30 as a reboot of the 2005 game with the same name. It has received positive reviews. The console version of the game currently has an 85 percent score on Metacritic. Even the iOS version of the game got a solid score from Gaming Illustrated.
Gaming Illustrated has had extensive coverage of the Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Mark Adams wrote the game could be the last great racing game of this console generation. Chad Whitney opined that the remake is a solid experience but shows EA is running out of fresh ideas for games.
