“Along with this latest product line announcement, we’re excited to announce that Mushkin has partnered with Meteor Entertainment‘s highly-anticipated video game HAWKEN to celebrate this launch,” said Mushkin Head of Global Marketing Nicolas Villalobos.

Mushkin is teaming up with Meteor Entertainment to celebrate the release of HAWKEN. HAWKEN is a highly-anticipated first-person mech combat game that is free to play with the ability to make in-game purchases. Gamers who purchase select Mushkin products through authorized retailers will get a code for $25 worth of in-game content. Gaming Illustrated was able to participate in a closed beta for HAWKEN. “We are excited to partner with Mushkin for this promotion. It allows us to bring HAWKEN to a wider audience here at CES and beyond,” said Shannon Gerritzen, senior manager of global PR at Meteor Entertainment. “Mushkin products are state-of-the-art and a great brand we believe in.”

The $25 giveaway will be awarded in game codes that are equal to 26,000 HAWKEN game credits and are available while supplies last. Only purchases through select retailers qualify for the codes so, be sure to check with the retailer before making a purchase.

Mushkin also announced a new line of enterprise class solid state drives at CES.
