Mushkin announced a new line of enterprise class solid-state drives (SSDs) at International CES.

The ProSpec series SSDs are the latest in high-performance and mission-critical computer products from Mushkin, an industry-leading designer and manufacturer.

Equipped with the tools necessary for the enterprise environment, Mushkin’s ProSpec SSDs deliver random read/write performance of 80K/42K IOPS and a sustained transfer rate of 560MB/s.

The enterprise class SSDs feature commercial MLC flash, allowing commercial users to gain 10 times the write endurance levels while also delivering no performance degradation over the life of the drive.

The full specs for Mushkin’s ProSpec SSDs include a SandForce SF-2582 SSD processor, enterprise MLC flash, SATA 3.0 (6Gb/s) interface that is backwards compatible with SATA 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s, 128-bit AES hardware encryption, TRIM support (OS/driver support required), S.M.A.R.T. support, garbage collection, wear leveling, user-upgradeable firmware, RoHS, FCC and CE. Each SSD is protected by a three-year limited warranty.

“We have time after time demonstrated to PC enthusiasts how Mushkin’s solid-state drive solutions can dramatically improve performance and reduce data transfer times, delivering levels of performance that have earned Mushkin its place as one of the top SSD manufacturers,” said Mushkin Director and Product Management Brian Flood.

Mushkin has been dedicated to helping overclockers, gamers, IT managers, digital artists and mobile professionals enhance their computing abilities by providing reliable, high-performance products for over 17 years. The company’s product lines include Flash Memory-based products and a complete selection of memory upgrades for desktops, notebooks and servers.
