Murdered Soul Suspect Announcement Trailer Released

Square Enix debuted a new trailer for the upcoming game Murdered: Soul Suspect.
The trailer shows the game’s main character Ronan O’Connor as he crosses into the spirit world by witnessing his own death. Ronan approaches a hooded man who shoots his unconscious body to make sure he is dead. Ronan then struggles to accept his fate.
Gamers are teased at the end of the Murdered: Soul Suspect trailer as Square Enix hints at more to come to at next week’s E3 and teasers for the next trailer are shown.
[adsense250itp]Murderd: Soul Suspect was originally announced in February and little about the game has been revealed since.
The game follows the story of Detective O’Connor, a man with a checkered past who is brutally killed. In the action-adventure title players are stuck in the limbo world of Dusk and must solve the mystery behind their own death to find peace.
Ronan is equipped with supernatural abilities as spirit. He must explore his town of Salem, Mass. in a way no living person can. Unfortunately, Ronan is unable to talk to living detectives so he must read minds and try to influence their actions. He also must interrogate the ghosts of Salem’s past citizens to piece together his own death.
Players will also have to fight off demonic spirits who are trying to get their a hold of Ronan’s spirit.
Square Enix has launched a viral campaign for Murdered: Soul Suspect. Players can hunt for leads through the game’s official website, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
No official release date has been announced for the game. It is expected to release early 2014 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The game has not been announced for next-generation consoles.

I suppose Blizzard isn’t just content to disappoint players on the PC but on consoles as well.
Seriously, despite whatever improvements Blizzard promises, it isn’t going to make up for the fact that Diablo III is such a horrible letdown. No matter what format its in it’ll still be a huge insult to the two terrific, dark and well made games that came before it.
In fact I feel like playing those right now.
