Moss

Sony announced Moss for PlayStation VR at its E3 2017 press conference, revealing the game will release in Holiday 2017.

Developed by Polyarc, Moss is one of Sony’s highlights for its upcoming virtual reality lineup.

Moss follows the story of Quill, a young mouse who dreams of a greater, more adventurous life beyond her own village. The player takes on the role of an ancient magic that has been awakened and becomes a character in the story. When an evil force enters her world, Quill and the player will journey out to stop it.

Players will deepen the bond with Quill by using gameplay to communicate with her and manipulate the world by directly reaching into it. Each action by the player will impact the world, as objects can be moved around to solve puzzles, assist in battle, heal Quill, and change the landscape of play.

Moss’ debut featured a unique fantasy atmosphere that looks both charming and inviting. The addition of VR is likely to further immerse players in the story and world.
