Monoprice announced the company is expanding its line of gaming accessories with products that include gaming headsets, keyboards and mice.

The product line features a 7.1 Dolby Digital amplified gaming headset for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The headset delivers a surround sound-like experience through the 7.1 channel audio system. It also supports analog 2-channel input. A USB connection on the headset allows for microphone communications on the PC and PS3 while a 3.5 mm TRRS plug can be used for the Xbox 360 and smartphones. Two microphones are also included for respective use for gaming and hands-free calling on a smartphone. All necessary connectors and adapters are included. The headset comes in black and costs $87.

Monoprice also offers a stripped down entry-level amplified gaming headset for $38.

The company is also offering PS3 players the Level X Gaming Bundle for $60. The PS3 kit includes an extra controller, gaming headset, 15-foot USB cable for charging the controller and a USB hub with several ports for USB peripherals.

For PC players, Monoprice unveiled the 5-button Optical Laser gaming mouse. Unlike the LED illumination found on most gaming mice, the Monoprice gaming mouse uses a laser diode in order to improve sensitivity and accuracy. Buttons include the standard left, right and wheel buttons along with two additional buttons on the side. The side buttons perform forward and backward functions but can be mapped within games. Players can increase response time by adjusting the sensitivity/dpi setting of the mouse using two buttons on the upper surface. The mouse is designed for superior comfort for gamers. It comes in black and is priced at $19.

The new gaming accessories are available on the Monoprice website now.

Monoprice is an e-commerce website established in 2002. The company specializes in making high-quality PC, gaming and tech accessories available to consumers at affordable prices.

The e-commerce leader is increasing its gaming focus in 2013. Monoprice already unveiled a sleek 27-inch monitor aimed at gamers and home entertainment enthusiasts.
