MISTOVER releases October 10

Developer and publisher KRAFTON Game Union released a new trailer for its procedural generated turn-based RPG, MISTOVER.

The new trailer gives a look at the various character classes in the game. Learn more about the different units that will aid the Expedition Corps as they battle to unravel the mysteries of the mist.

KRAFTON Game Union will be at TwitchCon in San Diego from September 27-29. If you’re at the San Diego Convention Center then you can meet the developers, demo the game, and find out about KRAFTON’s approach to the turn-based RPG genre at Booth 1364. There will also be select streaming opportunities directly from its booth!

If you can’t make it to TwitchCon, you can play a special timed demo through the Nintendo eShop, Steam, and the PlayStation Store for its respective platform. The timed demo gives a good idea of what runs in MISTOVER will be like.

MISTOVER combines Western and Asian influences into its turn-based RPG dungeon crawler. Players explore an ever-changing dungeons in over 40 hours of exploration through five distinct regions. All to discover the truth behind the Vortex and a cure the Mist threatening the realm.

Master challenging turn-based combat by utilizing the eight character classes and upgrading their equipment. 13 unique skills aid in dungeon exploration where you’ll find the Mist corrupts everything in surprising ways.

Our Take

MISTOVER has been on our radar since last spring. The stylish art, dark themes, turn-based combat, and procedural dungeons caught our interest immediately. After playing the timed demo on Nintendo Switch, we can’t wait to dig into the full game this October.
