Madden 16 Predicts Panthers Win Super Bowl 50

The Carolina Panthers will beat the Denver Broncos 24-20 to win Super Bowl 50, according to an official simulation by Madden 16. The video highlights from the sim can be seen in the trailer below.
Each year, the EA Sports team simulates the Super Bowl matchup in the latest version of Madden. The series has correctly predicted the winner of the Super Bowl nine of the past 12 years. Last year, Madden 15 accurately predicted the New England Patriots would defeat the Seattle Seahawks by a final score of 28-24.
Madden 16 thinks Panthers quarterback Cam Newton will take home MVP honors, going 19 of 26 for 216 passing yards in the big game. Newton also ran in for the game’s deciding touchdown in the sim, so expect him to hit the dab harder than ever.
Super Bowl 50 is set to take place Feb. 7 at 3:30 pm PT at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Madden has proven to be surprisingly accurate with the Super Bowl predictions over the past decade, so this sim should not be taken lightly. If I were a betting man, Madden 16’s prediction may have swayed me to put some money on the Panthers.
