[adsense250itp]Lords of the Fallen‘s release date has been announced for the US and Europe. The game will be available on Xbox One, PS4, PC in North America on Oct. 28 and in Europe on Oct. 31.
The game is being co-developed by CI Games and Deck 13 Interactive with Bandai Namco Games publishing. In the game players assume control of Harkyn, a convict out on a mission for redemption. Harkyn must face down an army of a defeated god and combat the Rhogar Lords.
Recently, Lords of the Fallen made a big splash at E3 2014. For our impressions of the Lords of the Fallen demo, check out our E3 preview here.
It seemed most of the more exciting current-gen games were pushed back to 2015. It is good to see Lords of the Fallen get a holiday release. PS4, Xbox One and PC gamers will be able to get a taste of the satisfyingly punishing game soon. Lords of the Fallen takes some influence from the Dark Souls series, but has plenty of its own quirks to distinguish itself as more than just a clone.
