League of Legends – Pulsefire Ezreal Skin Shines

League of Legends

League of Legends is one of the most popular games in the PC gaming industry right now with well over 30 million players worldwide and millions of players online at any given point in time.  Now in its second season, LoL has never seen more success.  Not only has Riot Games seen their first game become a worldwide sensation that is now among the leaders in eSports, but they have constantly been updating and improving the game experience with all the knowledge they have gained over the last three years.  For as long as I can remember, Riot has done their best to keep to their two week champion schedule, which now places them over 100 unique champions for you to enjoy, all the while enhancing the game and increasing the quality of work they release.

Earlier this season in League of Legends we saw the release of the single most anticipated piece of content in the history of League of Legends: Pulsefire Ezreal.  News about this skin had been leaked months before it was released, making it one of the things the community constant nagged Riot about, wondering when they would release news on this insanely desirable digital merchandise.  When it finally was released, Riot had released a masterpiece with an unprecedented amount of detail included in the skin.  For me, since this point the content League of Legends has been getting patches for has only improved and continues to do so at a seemingly exponential rate.  That’s plenty of me fanboying about Riot and LoL for now; let’s get into the specifics of the upcoming Season Two Championships.

In every sense of the words, the Season Two Championships are going to be bigger, better, and more intense than ever before.  Unlike last year, LoL is an established game with an extremely large following.  The viewership for LoL can, at times, rival sporting events like the Superbowl, sometimes beating their numbers in an excess of hundreds of thousands unique views.  That said, it’s safe to assume that millions will be tuning in to watch as Team Solomid, the current top team in the world, Counter Logic Gaming, along with their secondary teams, via with the rest of the best teams from Europe and Korea for a piece of the five million dollar prize pool.  At the moment, there really are no clear favorites to win it all.  Regardless of current rankings, all the professional LoL players are practicing to their fullest capacity, hoping to ensure a victory at the upcoming tournament.  The most interesting thing to think about is that at some point, all these teams have beaten each other and that there have been many interesting team swaps throughout the season, forcing players to play competitively against people they played closely with for extended periods of time.

Regardless of whom you’re rooting for to win it all, or if you just play for the fun of it, tune in for the Championships.  It’s guaranteed that you’ll see some awesome gameplay by some stellar players.
