Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage is releasing on Jan. 31, 2017 for PS4 as the first piece of DLC for the game.
The DLC features four new multiplayer maps and a new setting for Infinite Warfare’s cooperative zombies mode.
Sabotage introduces the maps Noir, Neon, Renaissance, and Dominion. Noir takes place in a grimy city at night that is inspired by Brooklyn. The three-lane map design is full of cafes and parks set against a dystopian downtown warzone. Neon is a digitized battle arena where objects like cars and buildings spawn in front of players and opponents dissolve into pixels after death. Much of the map features middle lanes which offer the perfect opportunities for long-range combat and sniper fire while the outer areas allow for shooting up close.
Renaissance is a map that whisks players away to Northern Italy and the narrow streets of Venice. Combat rigs and futuristic weaponry are likely to clash with the classic architecture and and canal-laced neighborhoods. Dominion is Infinite Warfare’s take on the Afghan map originally found in Modern Warfare 2. This version takes place on Mars but retains the same landmarks of the original while including a few sections to take advantage of the game’s movement system.
“Rave in the Redwoods” is the next entry in this year’s movie themed zombies mode. Shifting from the 80s-inspired Zombies in Spaceland, Rave in the Redwoods takes players into the 90s. Willard Wyler brings the original four protagonists from zombies, giving them new roles as they fight zombies in an abandoned, lakeside summer camp. It’s here that zombie ravers have overwhelmed the grounds and transformed it into a techno-fueled illusion. The new map contains new Easter eggs for fans and plenty of new ways to slay the undead.
The Sabotage DLC can be purchased individually, available as part of the Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe editions of Infinite Warfare, or included with the season pass for $49.99. PS4 players have exclusive access to Sabotage starting Jan. 31 with other platform releases to be announced at a future date.
