Kingston Obtains Naming Rights to HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas

Allied Esports, owner and operator of Esports Arena, has announced it has reached a naming rights deal with Kingston Technology Company to rebrand the Luxor Hotel and Casino location as the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas.
Kingston is already the official peripheral partner of the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas, but the new partnership will expand its presence. The deal will allow Kingston to host tournaments and hold meet-and-greet opportunities with HyperX-sponsored players at the venue. Additionally, the Esports Arena could be home to HyperX events during the annual International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
This partnership, along with the booming Las Vegas competitive gaming community, could go a long way to further legitimatize esports.
I visited Esports Arena Las Vegas earlier this year, and was impressed by the setup but a bit disappointed in its lack of events and excitement. Not much has changed since then, but there has been a consistent schedule of events that has helped generate interest, including weekly Wednesday Smash tournaments and Friday “I am 14, watch me obliterate this guy while building a tower at lightning pace” … err, Fortnite showdowns.
Still, the parking situation is not great and most of the arena sits relatively empty for most of the day. Hopefully, the HyperX name will be a mutually beneficial partnership that will take Esports Arena Las Vegas to new heights.
